Hi, my name is
I'm a sophomore at the University of Minnesota studying Mathematics and Computer Science. I build digital solutions — from hardware integrations to web applications.
Get In TouchHello! I'm Nithin, a Computer Science and Mathematics double-major at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities (Expected Graduation: Dec 2027).
I am driven by the belief that the most resilient software is built on a foundation of mathematical rigor. I specialize in the intersection of algorithmic logic and scalable systems, currently deepening my expertise through an AWS Generative AI Developer certification. My focus is on deploying production-ready LLM applications and architecting automated, high-integrity data workflows.
Industry Impact: As an Engineering Intern at Stanley Black & Decker, I developed digital solutions for construction professionals and reached the finals of the Stanley X Hackathon with a project recognized for its innovation and scalability.
Data & AI Strategy: At the UMN "Analytics for Good" Hackathon, I leveraged Python and SQL to transform massive, unstructured datasets into actionable insights for large-scale sustainability challenges.
Full-Stack Prototyping: I thrive on the "end-to-end" product journey — from low-level Arduino firmware and CAD hardware prototyping to building modern, cloud-native web applications.
When I'm not in the lab, you'll find me training with the UMN Running Club, collaborating on AI projects, or playing music.
Used Celonis process mining to analyze corporate travel data and model carbon & cost reduction strategies. Projected $25.7M in savings and 112.5M kg CO₂ reduced across four optimization strategies including eliminating unapproved trips and optimizing booking timing.
A handwritten interpreter/compiler in Java for a custom programming language. Supports variable assignment, arithmetic, user input, printing, loops, and conditionals — all parsed from plain-text source files.
A browser-based shoot-em-up game where players control a tank to survive waves of blob zombies. Built with p5.js, featuring real-time collision detection and enemy pathfinding.
A browser-based Enigma-style cipher tool built with p5.js. Users provide a seed for pseudo-random key generation to encode and decode messages — supporting letters, digits, and punctuation.
Stanley X Hackathon finalist project. A QR-code-based platform that links construction workers to equipment guides and tutorials, capturing institutional knowledge from experienced tradespeople. Includes an approval workflow and contributor certification system.
